South Ponte Vedra Beach is located along scenic highway A1A to the south of Ponte Vedra Beach and extends to Vilano Beach. Housing options range from oceanfront luxury estates to vacation homes and beach cottage, as well as gated communities, condominiums and single family neighborhoods.

South Ponte Vedra Beach has served for many years as a vacation destination, as well as a primary home community to Jacksonville and St. Augustine. Recently, many of the older beach houses have given way to upscale year-round homes that take full advantage of the ocean and state park views. There are also a number of smaller gated communities on the Intracoastal side of A1A. These neighborhoods offer amenities and private access to the beach.

The closest grocery shopping is at the new Publix in the Vilano beach town center is under development.
